Veteran sitcom actor Alan Thicke wrote a column about his R&B singer son Robin Thicke where he expressed shock that his son had succeeded despite "his regrettable heritage which branded him for life as the son of a White Canadian Sitcom Dad, a.k.a. 'Street Cred Death.'"
Alan also mentioned in the column that his son was most proud of his father for the fact that the elder once smoked pot with Snoop Dogg.
