November 13, 2004: Ol' Dirty Bastard Dies of a Drug Overdose

Wu-Tang Clan member Ol' Dirty Bastard (known to his mother as Russell Jones) died from a lethal mixture of cocaine and the prescription drug tramadol. He was 35.
ODB was something of a bizarre rap folk hero in his day, disrupting Grammy Awards, peeing on LL Cool J's possessions, and garnering FBI attention.
He was also known to pick up food stamps in a limo.
Remember, "Wu-Tang is for the children."
