November 22, 1990: Rolling Stones' Bill Wyman Almost Becomes His Own Grandfather
Jacques Demarthon, AFP
Follow this one carefully.
1) Rolling Stones member Bill Wyman announced he was divorcing model Mandy Smith. Wyman started dating her in 1983 when she was 13 and he was 50. They got married in 1989 and lasted a year-and-a-half legally before calling it quits.
2) Wyman's 30-year-old son Stephen from his first marriage in 1959 then went and married Mandy's mother, who was 16 years older than him.
3) If we've got our family tree right, this would mean that if Wyman had stayed married to Mandy he would have become his own grandfather.
