November 5: Bryan Adams & Ryan Adams Were Born

Clearly the two Adams are cosmically linked. Though one of them doesn't like that so much.

"Summer of '69" singer Bryan Adams was born in 1959 in Kingston, Ontario. In 1974 Ryan Adams was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

The Bryan-Ryan comparison thing has been a constant cause of consternation for the younger Adams over the years, occasionally resulting in spectacular related meltdowns. Especially if people attending his shows requested Bryan Adams songs.

He once told Spin magazine he "had to go into therapy beacuse of whole Bryan Adams 'Summer of '69' thing" and called his fans "a bunch of fucking cocks" for bringing up Bryan at shows.
