October 21, 2007: Kid Rock Gets Into a Fight at a Waffle House

Upstanding citizen Kid Rock was arrested after he and his band got into a fight with Harlen Akins, another customer at a Waffle House in Atlanta, Georgia.

Feel free to draw your own conclusions about this interaction: Akins apparently recognized a woman who was in Kid Rock's entourage. Akins then had words with this woman he knew. After those words, a fight started.

Kid Rock was arrested and released on $1,000 bail. He would eventually plead guilty to charges of simple battery.
