September 18, 2006: Willie Nelson Charged With Drug Possession

Legendary 73 year old country singer Willie Nelson and four members from his band were charged with drug possession when police in Lafayette, Louisiana stopped his tour bus and found marijuana and magic mushrooms. Everyone on the bus claimed it was their stash and all of them were charged with misdemeanors.

In 2010 police in Texas would also raid Nelson's bus, eventually resulting in similar misdemeanor charges.
