October 2, 2002: Adam Ant Avoids Jail By Being Nutters

Eighties icon and not-so-goody-two-shoes Adam Ant avoided jail time for a bizarre incident where he threw a car alternator through a London pub window, then threatened the drinkers inside with a replica pistol because they made fun of the elaborate cowboy outfit he was wearing. Ant was fined 500 pounds and ordered into psychiatric care.
