Kate Pierson, known worldwide as the beehived redhead from The B-52's, was charged with criminal mischief and trespassing during an anti-fur protest at the New York offices of Vogue Magazine.
The guerilla protest headed by PETA resulted in a number of arrests. New York City cops, however, had some fun with the whole thing.
According to a New York Magazine report, back at the station police were handcuffing themselves to Pierson and taking fake mugshots with her while singing hits like "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack."
