Paul McCartney and wife Linda McCartney appeared as guest characters on The Simpsons episode "Lisa the Vegetarian," an episode where, much like the title suggests, character Lisa Simpson became a vegetarian.
The one stipulation the McCartneys, staunch vegetarians themselves, had for appearing was that Lisa's character would permenantly remain a vegetarian.
