After their solo careers end in disaster, figure skaters Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) become the first same-sex skating partners, and use the ballad to showcase their agility and emotion. Delivering an award-winning and heart-wrenching performance, they beat out their incestuous rivals, the Van Waldenbergs (played by Amy Poehler and Will Arnett) and start anew as an unbeatable force.
