Potent Quotables: Wood Regrets Relationship

"I don't think [dating an older man] works. I think it's a bad idea." --Evan Rachel Wood

In a recent interview, the silver-screen beauty, 21, admitted that her two-year romance with Marilyn Manson, 40, was ill advised. These days, she's splitting the difference by dating 31-year-old actor Shane West. Good girl.

Trent Reznor Calls Marilyn Manson a 'Dopey Clown'

Trent Reznor is pulling no punches as of late, with the Nine Inch Nails mastermind taking swipes at Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo, Prince and Chris Cornell. But in a new interview in Mojo, Reznor saves his sharpest venom for one-time protege, Marilyn Manson. "He is a malicious guy and will step on anybody's face to succeed and cross any line of decency," Reznor says. "Seeing him now, drugs and alcohol now rule his life and he's become a dopey clown."

While Reznor does have some kind words to say about Manson, saying, "He used to be the smartest guy in the room. And as a fan of his talents, I hope he gets his s--- together," the disdain is evident. In the interview, Reznor says the feud dates back down to the 'Downward Spiral' tour in '94 and '95. "During the Spiral tour we propped them up to get our audience turned on to them and at that time a lot of the people in my circle were pretty far down the road as alcoholics. Not Manson. His drive for success and self-preservation was so high, he pretended to be f---ed up a lot when he wasn't."

Marilyn Manson and Limp Bizkit Guitarist Trade Insults

Marilyn Manson and Wes Borland are using hard rock magazine Kerrang! as the forum for a hilarious exchange of insults. The barbs got underway when Manson ripped Borland -- who played guitar in Manson's band briefly last summer -- for reuniting with Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit.

"We almost made the mistake of having Wes play guitar, but he re-joined Limp Bizkit," Manson tells the U.K.-based publication. "That move forever eradicated my feelings on his choices in life as an artist."

When asked why he thought Borland went back to his old band, Manson said, "That is what I find myself asking when I urinate sometimes. He said he would never go back. If the reason is money, then I'd rather roll up a $5 note and shove it up my urethra. I'd rather set my d--- on fire than join something that I hated."

Marilyn Manson Welcoming New Album With Twiggy

Marilyn Manson is close to giving birth to his new album -- his first with Twiggy Ramirez since 2000's 'Guns, God and Government.' "If we were pregnant, we'd be ready to drop," Manson tells Spinner.

The reunited couple appeared together at Spike TV's Scream 2008 Awards in L.A. over the weekend, when Manson shared the good news. A tentative release date has yet to be named, but a taste isn't far away. "I think we're gonna release a song before the end of the year," Manson says. "This record is the record we always wanted to make and [Twiggy] is writing from a point of view that I've always written from lyrically. I don't think earlier on he had the opportunity to be damaged, and his soul to be trampled on by women as much as me. So now that his penis has been cut off metaphorically, and been smashed into f---ing Sloppy Joe's -- someone s--- on his heart a thousand times -- we tried to put a musical face to that."

Here's hoping for a release right around Valentine's Day.
