Interpol's Paul Banks Dating Helena Christensen?

It seems that model Helena Christensen has acquired quite a taste for younger men. The 39-year-old looker, recently rumored to be dating 29-year-old actor Josh Harnett, is now being spotted all over the map ... well, all over 29-year-old Interpol frontman Paul Banks.

The two were spotted canoodling at her store, Butik, in Manhattan's West Village Wednesday night. And when she's not making out with Banks in shops, she's can be seen rocking out to his brooding tunes at Interpol's recent concerts.

But this isn't the first time she's gone this route. Christensen's musical boyfriend past -- which includes links to INXS' Michael Hutchence, Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan and Coldplay's Guy Berryman -- is enough to give Winona Ryder a run for her money. Unlike Ryder, however, who has dated everyone from whiney pop artists (Counting Crows' Adam Duritz) to rebel rockers (Jack White), Christensen seems to have a specific type: Dark and moody.

See a photo of the new couple and more musical hookups after the jump.

Potent Quotables: Fogarino's Punk Attitude

"I come from a Johnny [Rotten] train of thought. If the corporation has some f---ing money, take it. The joke is on them." -- Sam Fogarino

Spinner got an earful when we asked the Interpol drummer about commercials and TV shows using the band's songs.

Bad Lyric of the Week

"You wear those shoes like a dove"
-- Interpol's 'Heinrich Maneuver,' from 2007's 'Our Love to Admire'

Courtesy of Paul Banks -- the man who brought you "Her love's a pony" and compared the subway to "a porno" -- comes yet another needlessly challenging puzzle. Do I wear doves on my feet, or do I wear my shoes the way a dove would wear shoes? But birds don't wear ... Oh, never mind.
